Compliance with pandemic rules and regulations

The studio used for the Küchentalk with charm and kit format is located at the Union Halle venue in Frankfurt. The location offers plenty of space to work together while observing social distancing rules during setup, rehearsals and live streaming activities.

There are floor markings and sanitizer dispensers, and disinfection takes place on an ongoing basis during the stage show as soon as an actor moves to the tables during the presentation. The presenter always maintains at least 1.5 meters of distance from guests who come to him in the stage area and from stage actors.

All actors wear gloves on the stage itself, and distancing of 1.5 meters is maintained between the cooking and coaching stations. All backstage participants, such as camera operators, background artists, helping hands, technical crew, and direction and production staff, wear face masks covering the nose and mouth.

All participants are required to undergo rapid coronavirus testing the day before the show. Testing is performed by a specialized physician on site at the studio. All test results have been negative thus far, so the team has been able to implement the livestream without any changes. If anyone tests positive, there are substitution rules for every single member of the team. The team member with the positive test is also required to leave the studio right away. The physician is tasked with reporting the case to the health authorities immediately.
